The FBI said they currently have no reason to think Carroll did anything to kids at school. I am inclined to believe this based on my own experiences. No one ever called him “magical” and he did seem aloof. But that doesn’t make someone a criminal. I thought the board hired him because of his knowledge of local private schools, not because of his personality. The associate head was the one dealing with the kids and teachers on a day to day basis.

I don’t fault parents who kept their kids home last week. But do not try to blame this on the teachers or parents. This community has enough to process.

It is ridiculous that recent NCRC alums are not being included in any communications about town halls/ investigations - our kids were there while James Carroll was there - and so far we have received only one email. We should be getting updates because we also have skin in the game / worry about our kids who were there.

Yeah I agree with that. We are getting everything because we still have one kid there. All alumni families from the last seven years should get the same, I agree.

My comments were aimed at the posters here who are saying NCRC should do this or do that but clearly have no connection to the school and have no clue on the reality. But I fully agree all alumni from Carroll’s years should be included in all communication.

You used to be able to see the staff listing and photos on the NCRC website but it’s all hidden behind passwords since the website redesign last year. Interesting decision. Who else did JC hire while he was there. The “mindful movement” guy? The director of the summer program? Both men.

From what we’ve heard or been told, James was not the one responsible for hiring teachers. It was the associate principal’s responsibility. The current associate principal is a woman, as was the previous. Stop trying to implicate these other male teachers in the actions of a monster.

They probably hid the teachers’ info to stop them being harassed by crazy people on the internet.

This may be skewed thought because apparently moms here think just a guy working with children at a preschool is creepy. The guy is already battling an uphill battle because of profession he’s in

I honestly don’t think that JC was recruiting other fellow pedophiles as teachers. And also think that the two of them working at the same time as they did at BVR is a freaky coincidence. I think these people live in complete shame and darkness and have double lives. I don’t think they make friends with fellow pedophiles in the real world. Maybe I’m wrong - I dunno but seems so unlikely.

He hasn’t filed an affidavit. He is the accused. The gov have filed an affidavit in support of their charges.
