It is always a bad idea to talk to the police. It’s a bad idea if you’re innocent. It’s a bad idea if you’re guilty. They are never your friends and they are never on your side. It is not immoral for his attorney to advise him of such.

Thank you. I think this guys a murderous shit, but I’ve been in an abusive marriage enough to deeply understand the truth of your statement.

Just read this article in which a PI says lots of things said here, with additional point that by wearing a mask, he could have gotten thru airports. https://www.insider.com/brian-laundrie-could-have-fled-us-private-investigator-says-2021-9

But yeah, say he still has his phone? Why don't they have him. I expect them to have him by tomorrow, because this is not a smart dude.

Surely his parents sent him off on his “hike” with a burner phone.

And put him on boat headed outside the country.

To where? What country do you think will just let someone dock a boat with 0 questions?

According to some PPs, he “just” needs to go to South America, and he “just” needs to learn Spanish/Portuguese. Just.

I suspect her and his parents have already been LinkedIn and zillow stalked by everyone online -- are either sets of parents affluent what-so-ever?

I assume not, based off the shabby truck they had, lack of college education, and appearance of them both.

This is the nature of the lawyer business: his girlfriend goes missing and a guy on the street thinks he should at least talk to the police (with his attorney) to help find her because time is of the essence.

Unless she's already dead. Then, there is no reason to talk to the police, no urgency. The attorney's only duty is to his client, which means he/she must keep them from talking to the police and gently suggest that they should skip town. Lawyers will never win any popularity contests as a profession. And that's the way our system works.

Every marina I've sailed into requires calling the Harbor Master. Passports inspected if crossing country lines.

And helped him get away with it!

How come in the police video the kids are not asking to check on each other? Why doesn't Brian ask if Gabby is okay? I feel like I'd be so worried about my partner in such a situation. I guess Brian did offer to go to jail instead of Gabby, if I heard that part right.

Otherwise see just seems broken.

Here is an article from Fox news, it says his parents own a company selling juicing equipment

Why are all the stories about this on Fox News? Is it because she's white? Are her parents feeding them stories?

Here's a newer story, says the last texts from Gabby's phone were strange and they have her hard drive

They own a small business, and could actually be quite successful and wealthy in a millionaire next door way.

"The Laundries own Juicer Services, a company started in 2017 that sells and services commercial juicing equipment." They run the business out of their house.

First PP appears to be disparaging the victim’s parents as well.
