Why might someone need to buy 16+ gallons of whole milk from Costco?

I’m just curious. They were unpacking from their cart to coolers.

The milk expires so quickly. Are there animals that would drink whole milk? A large number of children? They appeared mid-60s.

Group home for teenage boys?
None of your concern? My 2 teens go through ~6 gallons total a week.

I was thinking this, too. Coffee shops make a lot of their profit on drinks like lattes and matchas.

Fun fact - there are Costco locations that cater only to small businesses, but many just go to the same ones you and I go to. I see this all the time with 500 lbs of rice or 20-30x of staples.

Business owners by from Costco all the time OP. I've seen restaurant owners buying large quantities of rice and oil when I have been in Costco.

This isn’t insane. Individuals, families and businesses purchase items in bulk from Costco. It can be anything.

I think "regular" people can actually shop here, but none are close to me.
