Delay at best with Liberal leave and unscheduled TW.

I'm expecting open with unscheduled leave and TW tomorrow and possibly Thursday as well. Friday I would expect open as normal.

Though not fuly clear, my Rockville neighborhood is looking much better. I can't imagine another closure. I think we will be open/on time, particularly since there's another storm brewing that could close us again.

MAX TELEWORK

OPM Director said he expects the government to be "fully open Wednesday" on X - I'm guessing no unscheduled/situational telework.

I swear they should pull credit card swipes and anyone going to super market, starbucks, movies, mall and driving around today asking to WFH tommorrow should be denied

The OPM director should personally shovel some people's snowplow berms.

There were lots of people willing to shovel for money when the snow was still fresh, but now that snowplows have pushed icebergs on people's driveways... I've seen no one. Some less-able-bodied people are stuck right now. I'm lucky to be able to do my own shoveling.

You can swipe by walking. But most can not walk to work. Last checked the bridges getting into DC from VA or MD were impassable by foot.

Right! It's not the same comparison.

+1. Also, school will almost certainly be closed, so liberal leave to care for your kids is appropriate.

(Not mentioning liberal telework because I don't want to hear a bunch of randos shout about how it's "iLEgaL" to telework with a 12 year old in the house. So let's just say liberal leave.)

I don't see this on the OPM twitter.

Isn't every day liberal leave if you have a worthwhile reason?

I’m not going to chip my car out until it’s above 20. Could be another day.
