JD and Usha

I haven’t read much about Usha Vance so I found some articles. she was a Democrat until 2014 when she changed to Independent. She switched to Republican in time to vote for her husband. . She appears to be a decent kind person.

JD on the other hand is a d-bag with zero principles or allegiance to any causes. He saw through Trump and knew he would be bad for the country.

During Trump’s first election Vance said these things and many more:

“I cannot stand Trump because I think he’s a fraud…I think he’s a total fraud that is exploiting these people…. I don’t think he actually cares about folks.”

: “Trump makes people I care about afraid. Immigrants, Muslims, etc. Because of this I find him reprehensible. God wants better of us.”

These comments are spot on. 100% accurate based on Trump’s over 60 years of being in the public eye.

Trump didn’t find God and change into someone who cares about folks, he didn’t stop exploiting people, people are even more afraid now that he’s ignoring the courts.

Do people think Vance has a chance at the presidency?

I’m so old I remember when Hollywood did a movie about JD’s life story and portrayed both JD and Usha as sympathetic characters. Gee, I wonder what happened. Now we have DCUM predicting their demise with fingers crossed.

Maybe she did at one time, but that would have been a long time ago. She has made plenty of choices since then. You don't think she's responsible for the outcomes of her choices?

Usha Vance profited from parents who raised her well, working hard throughout her academic life and creating a strong career. It is weak white women who couldn’t compete with her who profited from DEI. How else could they have gotten into law school so that they could snag a high earner and become a SAHM.

I used to think she may have been decent, but her part in ruining the Kennedy center and repressing art, with no remorse or shame- she is terrible for her part in this. Disgusted with her.

As far as I can tell, from what we know of them in the past and from what people say about them, they both used to be decent people. They are both extremely smart and ambitious, let's stop with any insinuations.

JD Vance sold his soul and Usha is along for the ride. She looks miserable (she has a conscience or some sense of perspective).

The only thing I feel slightly sorry for is that in this ultra prejudiced country, they will receive more hate than the bigger villains because they are nerds, she is non-white and a woman, he has a resting smarmy face, etc. IMO they should be far down on the list of most hated, but still. They are complicit. They are part of the problem. They violated their principles to gain power. No sympathy for either.

DEI (TM) wasn’t invented until 2020, years after Vance got into Yale.

Not all programs that expand access to underrepresented groups are DEI (TM) and DEI (TM) did not reach all underrepresented groups. In particular, DEI (TM) favored a worldview where privilege was measured by skin color, gender, and status as a sexual minority and almost completely ignored the actual current driver of inequality in our society which is money, class, and what kind of family you were born into.

(I put the TMs to mean Trademark, because so many people on this board do not understand the difference between the program invented in 2020 vs. actual diversity, equity, and inclusion. Sorry if it’s lame.)

This is pretty much every politician ever, except maybe Trump because I’m not sure he ever had any principles to begin with.

I came here to say something similar....Agree! I think Vance has turned evil-I have no pity for him but I still see something in her-I want to yell run honey run! She looks like she wants to fall in a hole every time he spews his stupidity.
