Fairfax County staff is recommending the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors raise property taxes on homeowners again and to implement a food tax in the county

Late last year, Fairfax County announced it had a nearly $300 million budget shortfall.

Don't want taxes in Fairfax going up while we focus on federal issues.

DC is looking better and better with no annual car tax and otherwise tax rates at par or lower with a much higher quality of life.

If you think it’s wrong, appeal it. I am tired of people complaining about their increased assessments but never the increased value of their house.

Why don't they just start auditing all the people not paying property taxes. Many don't, look up your street on the tax site. How are so many buying new SUVs, taking trips, maid service, constant landscaping projects not paying property tsxes.
