If she injured someone, they could sue her for damages but I'm not sure the courts wouild award differeintly based on her having a few drinks. Either way, damages are damages.

My mom was a single mom, a teacher by day, a waitresss by night, had 3 kids and never fell asleep at the wheel....most likely bc she wasn't drunk. +1 Even if was just two martinis at lunch, she's tiny. She would have at least been tipsy. She probably did have 3-4 drinks and doesn't want to admit it on TV.

Yeah I was pretty shocked it came up. Even if I had one drink I'd be like 'srsly don't bring THAT up because I don't want that even out there like it's legitimate."

Either way, I think they paid out of pocket and didn't bother with insurance, but even if they did, no damages against anyone else = no lawsuit and no breathalyzer anyway.

I think it's interesting the NY storyline is addressing Dorinda's alcoholism at this point, and now this with Monique.
