This is embarrassing. |
Atlanta has a large upper class African American population. Potomac doesn't. |
RACIST! |
I grew up in CCDC, admittedly not Potomac, but this doesn't look anything like the Potomac I know. And yes, I am saying I didn't know there were so many black people (and no white people on the show?!) Are they hoping to snag the Atlanta fans? |
Who cares? They aren't trying to get watchers from Potomac. It just happens to be location. You think BH folk tune in to RHOBH? |
If you watch the trailer, you'll see that they don't exactly act like most women in this area. Yuck. |
I think it should be Real Housewives of Potomac Mills |
Real Housewives of PG Plaza |
It is very Jewish, why couldn't they just have had Jewish women or done RHW of PG??? |
pg would've been more interesting. |
+ 1 They might have drawn a bigger audience with Jewish women. These women look like transplants. |
Must have been hard work trying to find five black women in potomac. Why couldnt they just do chicago if they wanted a black cast? |
You don't know much about Chicago. It's verrrrrry white minus the south side which only had one wealthy area. |
There was this Washington Post article from last summer that I didn't see until today:
https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/reliable-source/wp/2015/06/22/theres-a-new-d-c-reality-show-and-its-not-set-in-d-c/ |
Hmmmm
I see the wrinkled ladies' claws are coming out for the beautiful black women on this show. Granted all of their clothing choices are questionable. I'm excited about watching this latest entry into the RHO franchise. I grew up in MoCo among the black elite and it's an extremely small community. Most of my mom's and aunt's friends looked like this 25-40 years ago. They will be getting into the biracial vs. black issue and I'm sure colorism will be discussed at length. |
