Political Discussion
You do know that many of those people are mentally ill, right? If you spend any time in DC, you understand that some of these people are "not right" in the head. I blame the chaperones for not prepping the kids before the trip. You can't talk to crazy and they should know that! Crazy is going to be crazy, but we expect more out of Catholic school kids and their chaperones. I don't know about the NA man, but he possibly wanted to prevent the kids from being harmed by the crazies . . . because he has been in DC a lot and knows they are crazy and would rather take the heat himself. Who knows. All I know is that the "Christian" kids need to be better prepared for these kinds of trips. They are too young to handle the big leagues. And the government is shut down as far as Park police go so they have to police themselves (or the chaperones do). And there is no need to wear provocative clothing (MAGA hats) during a very contentious period of time. I put the blame squarely on the chaperones and school for not understanding this. Yes, the kids are obnoxious, but they are the product of their parents and the school so are innocent victims as well. |
I agree he is narcissistic, as are most of the people who have been president. I disagree he is racist. It is an easy accusation to throw around.... happens way too frequently. His actions and legislation just don't indicate racism. And, those who show hatred toward those who wear MAGA hats are bigots. |
This whole culture war could be avoided if people like Mr. Phillips would just stay in their places. |
So, every student group from out of town needs to be "prepped" prior to their visit about the racist, provocative Black Israelites and every other crazy group that occupies the sidewalks in DC? Doesn't reflect well on visiting our nation's capital. |
Not the white punks who were behaving like brats. The elderly Native American, who btw, had a permit for marching there, should stay in his place. Put that MAGA hat on and don't complain when we don't want anything to do with you. |
Yes, it's reality. There are crazy people everywhere, especially in a capital. Any capital. Snowflakes need to learn how to behave. |
I'm going to take your comment as sarcastic. He can go where he wants. Say what he wants. Sing what he wants. Drum what he wants. But, if he approaches a group of students, stands at a close distance, drums and sings in their faces, he may just be instigating a confrontation. |
You're still coming up with excuses for the bigoted and antagonizing behavior of the adults in the other two groups - and showing your own continuing bias. |
The fact that you have no clue how that sounds is mind boggling. Did you come in from 1959? |
Wow, they are disgusting pigs. And yes, you can see their shirts. |
You call these groups "crazy" and then refer to out of town students as "snowflakes." How elitist of you. |
You have to wonder . . . why the rhetorical question instead of just stating your assertion (whatever it may be) outright? |
Your statement makes zero sense. Yes, Trumpkins are all snowflakes who can always dish it, but never take it. I didn't call any particular groups "crazy." Read again, carefully. |
You’d think a Catholic school would be better at instilling Christian values in their kids, you know like turn the other cheek and don’t meet hostility with hostility. “They’ll know we are Christians by our love” and all - don’t they sing that song at mass anymore? |
Oh, I have stated my assertion several times. Bottom line: This group of students checks all the boxes needed to be targets of the social media mob. |
