It is pretty easy to avoid transgender people if you want to. We all avoid people we dislike all day everyday.

Sometimes we have to cope with people that make us uncomfortable. My daughters are in college and the bathrooms are not differentiated in any way. Most of the students of any gender don't love it but they all deal with it and carry on.

Wrong. No woman should have to “cope” with men in their prison cells, locker rooms, public restrooms, or sports teams. Especially not to placate the feelings of a few mentally ill males.

As far as college goes, they will accommodate special needs obviously and if are truly transphobic they will likely accomate that. But you need to realize that is just one of many special needs.

There is a litany of complaints...I need better water pressure, no long haired people that clog up the drain, no athletes, that bathroom is bigger, that one is cleaner, that one is closer, on and on and on..

The administration basically decided to just give everyone the same exact facilities so they would shut up. Just go to class and learn something people.

lol on transgenderism bring a mental illness. If only.

One could also make an argument that calling yourself a conservative feminist is a mental health issue, given its many deep, delusions and self-defeating contradictions. The anti-trans activist here clearly also has anger management issues and a low EQ.

There are a number of answers to the initial question, but one is sexual attraction. Conservative views are associated with higher levels of testosterone. All other things being equal, women tend to prefer more masculine men. The women you see with Republican men, especially outside the lower middle class, tend to be quite happily married to their Chads.

What you see as a "chad" is something the rest of us see as immature, insecure manchild, who think testosterone, strength, independence and ruggedness are things you can just buy at a gun shop or Harley dealership. The reality of it is that it's a front and they live in perpetual fear of what other conservatives will think of them if they don't conform, if they don't drive the right pickup truck and so on.

I grew up in rural red state America and this is how just about every one of my former classmates, relatives and so on in that bubble are. A lot of fronting, but on actual political or other issues they are clueless.

No, strength is something you get from lifting weights. The independence and ruggedness follows from the confidence you get from being stronger.

The fact you think conservatives are more conformist than progressives shows you're out of the loop. Women are far more conformist than men (due to evolution and whatnot), and women are more likely to be progressive, especially the unmarried women.

Why are so many of these supposedly rugged, strong, and handsome conservative men obese, diabetic, high blood pressure, out of shape, toothless, dying young and so on?

Did the words get redefined somewhere along the way?

.7% of the female US population is imprisoned, with women having a 1% chance of incarceration over their lifetime. That is a big increase over the last 25 years, but it’s still a very small percentage of American women.

56% of American women have a child in their lifetime. That doesn’t include women who get pregnant but don’t end up having a child for whatever reason. And pregnancy is dangerous. Pregnancy can kill you.

so ultimately Republican women are just not good a judging risk.
They’ve got their reasons, they just aren’t good ones.
And when you show them numbers it doesn’t matter.
It is what it is.

You’re a disgusting bottom feeder to suggest that it’s all right to cede safety in girls sports and the safety of female prisoners because a nasty subgroup of men demand it. You’re also a complete idiot not to see how evil and hateful democrats are to force women to accept male fetishists in female spaces, sports and medicine in return for abortion.

“Wah! I get so mad when people point out the ridiculous math of stupid convictions! Why can’t women just quietly die in childbirth and let me remain an ignoramus in peace!”
It’s ok girl.
Stay dumb. It’s fine.

Ah, you must be one of the “trans women” who prowl this board harassing women who aren’t on board with your agenda. One can always tell a man by how he mansplains women and isn’t intellectually up to grasping simple concerns women face. My abortion rights won’t come at the cost of vulnerable women dealing with your lantern jaw and erect penis in women’s domestic violence shelters or my daughter being denied access to the fair competition that builds girls’ self-esteem. No woman is expendable to me because I’m not a LARPing man like you.

Conservatives are by definition conformist.

Exactly. We disagree with you OP. Shocking to you, I know.

Disagreeing with us is one thing. Disagreeing with your own self interests and bodily autonomy is what confounds us.

Please, tell me more what my self-interests are? You referenced seem to think you know, better than I, what they are. It’s funny that you think you need to tell all women what their self-interests should be. You sort of sound like a man.

The left is going all-in on male supremacy these days so that does indeed track.

The right always sounds desperate and flailing on this issue of denying women reproductive rights.

Stating the truth of the fact that the left is embracing male supremacy doesn’t do anything to remove the truth of the fact that the right has already broadly embraced male supremacy. The only difference now is that the left has decided it likes those waters too, and is jumping in.

Both parties are male supremacist these days.

This. Why so many tax dollars going to red states to keep these hunks alive?

Okay but conservatives do tend to be both happier and better looking.
