Because they have three teams or more per age group. The real question is how many will back out if already committed to Union and if Union will still make families pay the Club dues (which they shouldn't, these are still kids in the end!).

10s and 11s have a real shot at winning the Nat'l Championship if they pick up the best Union players. Nothing will help the 09s, not even Trinity Rodman. 12s could get some much needed help but would have SC...younger age groups will still see parity of kids moving club to club for years.

Add financial crimes to the rap sheet of this coaching staff. No one wants to work under the abuser….so desperate times require desperate measures. He need to get coaches to do his dirty work and he hires quality of character like this? SMH. Did anyone even do a background check? Is this kosher for non profit status?

Yeah losing two ecnl teams in 1.5 years will make the ECNL or bust people venture to MoCo seems pretty reasonable

Very, very difficult to break into top teams at Bethesda right now for either gender.

You mean sex. Sex refers to biological characteristics assigned at birth. Gender is a social construct related to how one sees themselves and expresses themselves.

If you use "either" it's sex. If you insist on "gender" then you cannot use the word "either" as there are many more genders than two.

I realise you believe yourself to be "inclusive" by saying gender but it is actually more hurtful to say there are only two genders, which you did by using the word, "either.' And no, the terms are not interchangeable.

Anyone with lawsuits as the defendant has probably done something wrong. I looked at the cases because I don't know much about him. I don't really know what this says about him as a coach, but it seems he has not paid back debts from his personal soccer business endeavers. Just because someone fails in small business does not mean he is a bad person or coach.

More of a red flag for me is many different clubs over 15 years, Union not exteneding his contract or those close to him. FC Virginia, VDA and Arlington did not hire him after interviews. Or they didn't offer enough money. Don't know the details only that he did interview. Now the entire circle of the Howard WSOC are all together at Bethesda along with his DMV Futsal Director, MN. Again, nothing wrong with that but the first time one of these coaches wants charge you for a Sunday training on the side, like EP, you should be concerned.

Its the small businesss owner coaches like NM and that aggro bro at Arlington who get greedy and then don't pay their employees is the problem being disscussed.

11's are closer than the 10s which is why KL stuck with them. 10s are good but Union 10s are better, they are not leaving for this hot mess. Nobody in the DMV is winning an ECNL national championship period. Put our hopes in a potential GA team as region is the best solution if you want to thump your chest about nattys

I hope you realize that you are roughly in the 20% of the population that feels this way. It's one of the reasons we are stuck with Orangeman...I often wonder if only Democrats were polled on this subject. I support biological women in sports. I support gender identity choices and treatments after the age of 18. Anything less is child abuse. Hormone Therapy does more damage to a child than smoking cigarettes and marijuana and you can't do those until 18.
