I’ve witnessed fare evaders with my own two eyes. I felt stupid for even paying and thought perhaps the bus was free.

I didn't say I wanted it free, although I wouldn't be opposed to that. People need to be able to get to work and family, even if they're poor. And for those that aren't poor, it would be good to encourage more people to take transit than to drive.

In the meantime, I'm fully supportive of this attempted crackdown.
