No need to talk about current teams/players. They will all look very different next year.

Yes I just hope we are back to normal by next year. Just remember girls and boys do not peak at u12/u13. So make sure your girl/s are enjoying playing and continue to play(when it’s safe to do so).

Depends on what you mean by safe. If the objective is to avoid any risk of catching the virus, it'll be 12-18 months of distancing and/or lockdown. and playing in the backyard. If the objective is to reduce the social cost of the virus, it might be 6-8 weeks and then up to individuals to determine the level of risk that is tolerable for their kids and families. Either way, agreed with the above statements.

The state has limited gatherings. Any tryout or game would surpass the State order.

My guess is that we are done for this year. Clubs will invite their current teams back to finish up the spring season that was lost in 2020. While this is going on, they will be evaluating and then setting up their tryout dates in 2021 for the new season in the fall.

Yeah, I get that doofus. The question is if/when that order gets lifted, what happens then. It's not like the question will not be there in the absence of the order. The order will not last 12-18 months.

Looks like a non-athlete parent was offended by the words 'non-athlete'

Arlington could probably hold a tryout for non Arlington players only now.

I don’t think more than 10 would show up.

So you think there would be more interest? 10 would be more then showed up for the tryouts before DA folded.

Is the parent the non-athlete or the kid the non-athlete?
