Brought my son to an ID session at NVA as well, small world so we recognize the top players and was surprised at who was there. Whether there is real interest time will tell but don’t discount how many kids showed up.
so you are going to try to snatch one of the top spots. Good luck. Follow up w us.

No thanks, targeting MLS Next HG and VRSC doesn’t have that level of play yet

Have people forgotten that vr$c only has GA because they bought the spot and MLS 2 is a fake badge? This club is a collection of cuts and demoted players/coaches. Money is the motive.

QP has done NOTHING on the field for VDA. For VDA girls, QP has empowered the right people to move the club forward. That includes hiring BP which wouldn’t have happened if a certain VDA coach didn’t intervene and keep BP from going to another DMV club when he left FCV.

VDA was a top 25 club before BP. It will be top 5 in a few years with BP steering the ship as long as ML and AS stay as involved as they are now.

When BP left FCV, he could’ve gone to any club in the area, but he chose to go to Vda and definitely doesn’t make the kind of money that he would make at other places further north. I think that says something.

its giving cognitive dissonance

Go wipe your mouth. You get no praise in here until you have results in the u16 and below.

U16s won MA. Have been top 3 in conference every year.

What are results at the younger ages? Does that mean winning? Loudoun always had winning teams at u13. How’d that end up? Arlington always wins at u13. How are they in the recruiting ages?
and how are the 15s, 14s, 13, and below. Fairfax and Arlington own those age groups and will continue to do so on the girls side. Say what you want about MV but those teams are solid and Arlington is only getting better. They will keep those teams together and put up numbers in the recruiting ages. Trust me. No one wants a to switch clubs and start over when they have the winning recipes.

Arlington 15s are a strong team. Union 11s are far from it.

13/14 winning is different than recruiting age winning. Talk to the Arlington 07, 08, 09, 10’s.

Union 2012 sitting in third with half the season to go and trapped players being eligible this spring isn’t as solid as you might think. Kick it hard and run fast!

Arlington 2012 really solidified with roster pickups over the summer and might beat out Charlotte to win MA.

Union 2013 is a strong team right now. Arlington looks like everyone else in the division. Too early to tell if they’ll pan out.

bro noooooo one said anything about the union 11s. Thats on DB. But if we are keeping it honest they are only one under vdas 11s. New coach may produce new results.

The younger teams at arl and fvu have the most upside in the area. Expect it to translate to really good recruitment down the road.

that fake badge allowed some players to move to real badges on the girls side. Will that trend continue?

Same goes for any GA Club when it comes players and coaches. Anyone that acts like any GA Club is much better is delusional. They are all bad in Mid-Atlantic South. GA looks even worse this year, getting slaughtered by ECNL teams.

Nice try CC. Justify VRSC’s shittyness by saying all GA clubs are shitty. VRSC is the bottom of the shit barrel

Triggered much? Judging by your constant posting you have an awful lot of interest in a bottom of the barrel club in a shitty league. Or maybe you don't actually think they are bottom of the barrel or the league is shitty. He dost protest too much.

Quan only wants kids for HP elite.

BP was not popular at fcv. They were thrilled when he left the area. He, along with his wife, have trouble staying employed in the soccer world. Toxicity is a terrible trait.

The above post reads as if he wrote it himself.

Your first sentence shows how little you’re actually around the program and how unfamiliar you are with all of the people involved.

I agree on your point about toxicity. Pot meet kettle?

No. We drank the HPE Kool aid too. No issue there. It's a fine supplemental program for young strikers.

I'm around "the program" more than I around like to be. DD has many practices week in Haymarket. I know all about BP and his coaching issues. I can not wait to my kid to move on to college. We have had a few coaches in our soccer journey and when you hear unbelievable negative things about coaches...believe them. Rumors start with a truth.

Several international students coming in to play U.S. club? Is this a new Rev school deal? Is this like what happens at IMG? Get club exposure for taking college roster spots?
When we first went to a Rev info session a couple years ago we got a full sales pitch and vision for the club. The IMG model was exactly what they mentioned as the vision. As far fetched as it sounded at the time, since then they have actually made some gains in that direction. The academic school, renovations of the facility, joined GA and MLSN, took over Loudoun United and Segra, added USL-W women’s team. Bringing in young international players to attend high school and then place them into US colleges and their pro teams might be a way to infuse the club with talent on the top teams. It works for IMG.
Perhaps. They have also told people this will be the #1 club on the Eastern Seaboard by the time of the World Cup. Has this happened? Is it close? Absolutely not, in any way.

What are they selling? Think about it? Come here. We are bringing foreign kids in who can't make it in their own country's academy system. BUT, we have no problem bringing them here (likely on your dollar) to take your daughter's place at the first opportunity. Why? To make money and to make the organization look better. So, local kids, and their families, who actually want to be here GFY.

I can't tell you how happy I am we have one foot out the door. Trust them all you want, ye suckers!!!!!
My daughter didn't even end up playing for Revolution. I'm just telling you what they told us. Not making a judgement on if it's good or bad or if it will be successful or how long it will take. But it sure did touch a nerve with you so they must be on to something.
No nerve touched. I'm just telling you how it is from my perspective.

It's interesting how often I see "touched a nerve" on this website but rarely, if ever, hear it "in the wild" in everyday life. It's almost as if the same person goes from thead to thread commenting on things to get people to reply. I

It's similar to how "axe to grind" is used in the VRSC thread if anyone says ANYTHING negative about the club. It certainly does make me wonder.
Let me guess… are you one of the parents nervous your player might not make a GA team next season?

There’s been a lot of talent at tryouts and that’s a good thing. Competition should excite you, not scare you.

Please let your child earn their spot. That’s how elite teams are built.

Interesting. I’m an NVA parent and our team didn’t have any. I did hear some of the younger teams did, but I’ve also heard it’s because some parents are nervous their child won’t get a fair shot with the new coach at REV.

Please let your child compete. That’s how they grow. If you’re constantly worried before it even plays out, you’ll be jumping clubs every year.

Let them earn it.
