When we first went to a Rev info session a couple years ago we got a full sales pitch and vision for the club. The IMG model was exactly what they mentioned as the vision. As far fetched as it sounded at the time, since then they have actually made some gains in that direction. The academic school, renovations of the facility, joined GA and MLSN, took over Loudoun United and Segra, added USL-W women’s team. Bringing in young international players to attend high school and then place them into US colleges and their pro teams might be a way to infuse the club with talent on the top teams. Perhaps.  They have also told people this will be the #1 club on the Eastern Seaboard by the time of the World Cup. Has this happened? Is it close? Absolutely not, in any way.

What are they selling? Think about it? Come here. We are bringing foreign kids in who can't make it in their own country's academy system.  BUT, we have no problem bringing them here (likely on your dollar) to take your daughter's place at the first opportunity.  Why? To make money and to make the organization look better.  So, local kids, and their families,  who actually want to be here GFY.

No nerve touched. I'm just telling you how it is from my perspective.

It's interesting how often I see "touched a nerve" on this website but rarely,  if ever, hear it "in the wild" in everyday life. It's almost as if the same person goes from thead to thread commenting on things to get people to reply.  I

There’s been a lot of talent at tryouts  and that’s a good thing. Competition should excite you, not scare you.

Please let your child earn their spot. That’s how elite teams are built.
