I feel like the regression is because he came back from Philly with this idea of being with Madison and it seems like there's no chance so he's deliberately dating women he's never going to be serious about.

I realize I am an unrealistic Kevin/Madison shipper and that it seems impossible they are together in the end. But I still think it's them.

I don’t know if it was lazy editing or part of the story, but if you pause on the opening scene where Madison is popping champagne she does NOT have a wedding ring on. I think she’s single. But then again this is the show that messed up the Ovulation / Pregnancy test!

In next week’s episode Madison is in the family picture with Elijah. S it possible there are TWO weddings for Kate? Divorces Phillip and marry for a third time?

Kate and Philip might be the fakest-seeming couple I've ever seen on tv. The actor playing Philip tries, but it's just not remotely plausible.

I wish they would have matched Kate with someone more like the old Toby. She still has more chemistry with Toby than Phillip, even at their worst moments. She is so unlikeable. I feel like they had her character moving in the right direction towards some redeemable qualities and then...nope.

She and Toby were so great together. Philip is milquetoast in comparison.

Yes he is tazer face in guardians of the galaxy 2.
This episode and the Kate-Philip milque toast comment made me realize what a great actor the guy playing Toby is. Has he been in other things?

I was thinking about the Randall dynamic at the pool and it's interesting... I actually feel it in my family with a lot of siblings. I am a middle child (out of 6), I am pretty independent and don't need much, but I get upset that my parents don't offer as much to me as they do to my sibs. But, I know deep down they are super proud of me and just show it differently. I feel like that's what was happening with Randall - he was off on his own because he was thriving at swimming, but he was bothered that Kate and Jack were getting more attention from their parents. He didn't realize how important it was to his parents and how impressed they were by everything he accomplished.

Kevin’s lid was ajar so she had to straighten the lid. That is why we could see more than Kate’s.

I am youngest of three, girl, boy, girl. I got hand me downs, even my brother’s clothes. We were not poor. Sister always got first choice in every thing and my mother adored my brother. All family dynamics are different.
