| US sends a group of 5'10 slow players to Spain and could not compete at all. Lose first match to Spain badly. |
| Shocker |
|
I thought we always strictly send our biggest/fastest soccer players???? LOL
They might look slow due to the slow speed of play and lack of technical skills. |
| The way the American ID process works is not producing the best teams. Simple a that. We used to be able to get away with nepotism/favoritism/paying off but the women's teams around the world have caught up to us and will continue to outshine us as long as our system is not merit based. |
| The powers that be will die on this hill. Don’t hold your breath for a course correction. |
They sent all the players that have been hyped from a young age and have huge accolades...come from bigger clubs or playing as freshman in college. I watched the game...they got beat by a bunch of 17 year old girls from Spain and they got beat badly. |
I believe this too. New leadership is needed but there doesn't seem to be any accountability for losing. |

Nicki Fraser is 5’10” and has a few inches on all the starters, including the GK. |
Because nobody cares about National teams. College soccer or bust. |

Where are all the posts when the US U15's for example are winning international games/tournaments?
Looks like just some mean spirited folks here with negativity tunnel vision |
| How many countries in the world has U19's that can beat Spain? |
Because the concacaf tournament is a joke. Zero competition for the U.S. |
They just beat Croatia, Morocco and Japan to win a tournament in Croatia Lost to England by a single goal |
That's great. This is about our U19 team that is heading into a World Cup. |
