You see propaganda like this, youngest player with 200 days to score and that, the first with 201 days of this and that, first sisters to be in the pro league, what’s next? First trans youngest player to score? First blonde, first brunette, first redhead?

It is annoying...

At least with the boys/men US Soccer is forced to actually field some level of talent. Because if they didn't other countries would smash them even more than they already do.

The girls/women is so full will "who you know" that "how you play" seems like a second thought. At least Spain pulled the covers off the USWNT hypocrisy in the last World Cup. This needs to happen multiple times before US Soccer will change.

USWNT U-16 just won against Germany. maybe it’s time for Germany to change to a pay to play youth model.

Not true, both USMNT players and coaches are lacking.

This gets proven every 4 years in the World Cup.

Yep Berhalter was out coached at the last WC in every game. It is amazing how everyone talks about player development. You know these players must move to a big club, get a lot of playing time, face the highest competition, etc. Now that is not said for the coach. Being a nation team coach is almost a part time job. National team coaches do not develop. These positions are usually held by a senior coach with years of experience and a great resume. It is not a position that makes a coach better because of the lack of games played and the limited time with the players.

Look at what happened with Gio at the World Cup. That was a Tuesday night at a big European club. Berhalter is the wrong coach at the wrong time. All the starters are comfortable because they know they fit Berhalter system. So they do not face competition for starts, positions or being on the team. The job of a National team coach is to develop a system that maximizes the squad’s strength not impose your system that does not fit the talent.

Or maybe Germany doesn't care about their u16 team because they know these aren't the players they're going to field in the next World Cup.

Nothing says success quite like winning a friendly.

And as expected US Soccer celebrates the "gritty" 3-3 tie that Spain knew they could win at any time if they weren't giving bench players minutes.

Concerably absent is any reference to the 0-3 loss that happn3d the day before this game.

US Soccer, time to get out of the hype business and actually win games.
