Also when my niece was in college, there was a rape on campus. The school beefed up security and held seminars, etc about consent and female safety, etc.

MCPS and Superintendent Jack smith appear to be taking the position that this event was just an unfortunate circumstance. No mention of what exactly they will be doing going forward.

At least MCPS it's only 18 year olds. I teach at Lee High School in FCPS and we have a lot of 20-21 year olds in classes with 14 year old girls. I have seen 19 year olds dating 14 year olds. It's insane.

The point is that 18 yr olds have in the past (and probably will in the future) rape a girl in HS (very sad to say this). Even if you were to kick out every single illegal immigrant, this will still happen. And there are cases where private school boys have raped girls, too. Sending them to private school is not going to prevent sh1t from happening. Millions of people have sent their daughters to public HS, some with illegal immigrants (I went to one), without their daughters getting raped in school.
