I’ll leave that one to you - take a guess!

It is not what you think but ok.

Moving forward the questions for this coming week are: (assuming schedule is correct on lax numbers)

Potomac v saints Tuesday
Saints v stab Thursday
Potomac at stab Saturday
Visi v stone ridge Thursday
Stone ridge v Milton Friday
St. John’s at archbishop spalding Friday

By the end of the week we should know who’s got the inside track for the isl and visaa titles.

Pretty sure good counsel and St. John’s are a lock for WCAC.

Can STAB continue momentum? Is Saints finally for real? Is VISI going to run the table or play spoiler? Is anybody capable of beating Stone Ridge? Does Potomac have enough to defend their title. Can St J knock off Good Counsel?

Who will win DC States?

I’d keep my eye on NCS.

If this happens, Visi should pack it in....

They already have

Not sure that is true, despite the admin's best efforts to de-emphasize sports.

Visi is consistently a top choice for a certain type of Country Club Catholic family, who would prefer to send their daughters to Visi, or maybe Stone Ridge. Good academic schools like NCS are not even on their radar. There always seems to be just enough good lacrosse players in the ranks to fill out a decent roster despite the school not putting sports or athletes on a pedestal like some other schools.

Yes, because NCS is not Catholic. What an asshat you are. And don’t get me started on how much you suck at lax. But keep praying that half of those ‘29 M&D DC kids will get you to the promise land.

They all play for Cap Blue and Orange.

What are those two teams (Blue and Orange) ranked at ‘29? Do they compete with MD teams (the good ones - M&D Black, Hero’s, etc.)?

DC Beat M&D Black

29s are in HS Karen! Your kid is done in HS, hopefully you enjoyed it.

This is honestly a funny post. We will see today who lives rent free in the others mind. Saints are obviously favored to win this game but if the panthers come out like they have something to defend (a state championship), they should be fine. Should be an intresting game and cant wait to hear about it.

3-0 Saints late in the second. Potomac defense has been pretty impressive so far but the offense is utterly disgusting to watch. Just no signs of preparation or fundamentals

Being able to catch the ball would be a good start for Potomac

Did Potomac beat sssas last year? Why is sssas favored to win if Potomac won last year

Was this a serious question? You are familiar with graduation and the fact that high school players only stay for 4 years, right? Potomac's strength was the core of seniors in the '25 class last year.

SSSAS also has key players back from injury this season. Balance has shifted significantly.

Honestly gonna disagree with this comment. They looked very sloppy at times on offense. Their defense really kept their lead for them. And their senior goalie played outstanding. Huge factor in this big win.

What was the score?

9-5, but it was not a close game. Saints better from the start. Won more draws, connected well on offense. Potomac barely tried to hit a cutter on offense. One dodge after another. Potomac goalie had a great game.

6-1 at the start of the 4th. 9-3 final.

You all realize the highschoolers have basically taken over this thread. They’re trolling it and making all kinds of crazy comments. I would bet all those comments that if you’re like they’re coming from Sssas, parents or players are trolls and kids for other schools and parents for other schools.
