Despite good coaching and the recruiting pitch, it will be tough to pull off given their small size and academic standards. Local players have 4-6 schools with good+ academics and much better lax programs to choose from.

By ‘28 NCS will be competitive with Potomac. Coach has a stacked team of excellent young players.

I still have no clue who NCS is.

NCS will be competitive with Visitation who is losing a bunch of starters this year and is extremely weak in the underclassmen classes. They will not compete with SSSAS or SR.

This is laughable. Visi's JV would beat NCS.

Saints have depth at just about every position with Class of 2027 & 2028. They will remain very competitive due to the depth despite graduating a very talented 2026 class. All the ISL schools are graduating talented players so it will be a big opportunity for players who have been waiting their turn to shine and make an impact on their respective varsity teams.

Ahhhh. That’s debatable. It’s been well documented the 27 and 28 classes are not particularly strong. I’ll call it now. Saints will have a giant drop off next season.

I’ve heard the 27 and 28 classes are solid across the DMV. I know you like to perpetuate this idea that those two classes are not strong but it’s just not true. All the 2027 and 2028 players I’ve seen at these local ISL schools can play with the best of them including the SSSAS players. Seniors graduate every year and the following season players step up and show what they got and seize their opportunities! I’m sure at all these schools including SSSAS you will see that happen so it should be an exciting season next year for the 2027/2028 players given the stronghold many of top 2026 DMV players have had on their positions since their freshman year.

No depth at midfield. Barely have enough this year let alone for the next couple years.

St. Johns senior day is going to be fun tomorrow. Picked the wrong team to invite.

Um.. Not true? Trollers are back. They have plenty of players that can play midfield and you will see next year. There is so much fake news on this thread at times… It’s hard to know what’s true and what’s not but I am 100% sure they do have plenty of players that can play midfield next year.

This is simply incorrect, and the 2028 class should not be included in this discussion.

Um, no. Visi's JV wouldn't schedule NCS undefeated JV because they knew they'd lose.

And no one on the 29 lax class is surprised what happened on SR V lax roster this year. Parent has been working to make sure that happened for a few years now.

Do tell more....for those of us who don't know the politics! What happened on the roster this year for varsity?
