They should. They really struggled this year. Don’t know anything about NCS.

Haven't heard much about NCS either.

Why not Sidwell? They won the tournament last year and are in 2nd place currently.

As an ISL A parent who has seen his kid's team play most of the competition and NCS, I'd say it is a foregone conclusion that NCS will be in AA next year.

Because NCS already beat them and relegation/promotion is based on regular season, not tournament.

At the conclusion of each season, the school finishing in last place in the AA Division for a particular sport will move to the A Division for the following season, while the top team in the A Division will move to the AA Division for the following season. In case of a tie, head to head competition will be used to determine divisional movement. If still tied, the team in the A Division with the best overall finish in the tournament shall move up and the team in the AA Division with the best overall finish in the tournament shall remain in the upper division. Overall League Champions will be determined in cross‑country, swimming, and track at the season ending meet.

I think they will be able to preform quite well in the lower half of the AA.

I've had two kids in the ISL beginning in 2018 with the younger graduating this year. Not making it up.

Yes; NCS will compete with Bullis for 7th place in ISL AA next year. They will need a 5 Star or a few 4 Stars and more depth to go higher than that. Despite good coaching and the recruiting pitch, it will be tough to pull off given their small size and academic standards. Local players have 4-6 schools with good+ academics and much better lax programs to choose from.

By ‘28 NCS will be competitive with Potomac. Coach has a stacked team of excellent young players.

Physical size will be an issue for most of the team.
