Battlefield is definitely top 3 or 4 and has earned their shot at a State Title. Could easily win it all and Fairfax teams are nervous.

Probably getting bashed as last year only a top 10 to 15 team and walked into the State Finals while a lot of stronger teams eliminated during their Regionals. Thus the bashing.

Nervous? It’s a lacrosse game. Parents may be nervous. Players just go out and play. Why would anyone be nervous?

I can’t believe how pathetic this group of adults are. These are high school girls playing the game they love and most of them are all friends with each other and support each other. I am sure they would be laughing at this group of losers.

I’ve seen a lot of debate about the top goalies in the area. I agree all of the ones mentioned are outstanding, but there is one who has been consistently left out. She plays at Kettle Run and is JMU committed. What she does every game for her team is nothing short of amazing. She has led her team to regionals and states and should again this year. Just didn’t think she should be left out of the conversation.

I don’t think anyone is leaving her out because we have been talking about the 6A goalies. But you are 100% right. She is one of the best out there. The Kettle Run and Battlefield goalies play together and are great 1-2 punch on their travel team. My daughter hates having to play against Capital

There’s no question that she is one of the best goalies, perhaps the best, in the DC Metro area, but these discussions have been focused on Class 6 high school teams (although the Dominion goalie was mentioned). I believe the Kettle Run goalie was probably the most heavily recruited of any that have been discussed on this board. Luckily, the teams we root for won’t have to face her.
