It was and still is the storm. Hurricanes are circular and large. Now a tropical storm, but the point is it doesn’t always pass in one swoop.

Au contraire! Bowie resident here - Foxhill section - incredible storm that woke us all up. I took photos of the sky at 4 AM and it was bright as day outside when the lightning struck. Not too much rain, but the thunder and lightning were magnificent.

We're in Rockville, and last night we also woke up around 3 am; I'm not easily scared but that storm was something!
