"Seer" just isn't as fun. And "Rabbit" is just dumb. And I say this as the person who gets ribbed by their friends as being the most "woke" person in the group. |

I don't think it's "cancelled" if they recognized the issue when confronted with it and adjusted to be less offensive/potentially offensive. |

| As I predicted the fun of doing this left the game when the holier than thou PC crowd showed up. Swami was not being used perjoratively here and most of the words we are To Never Use are based on deep historical hurt in this country. Swami doesn't reach that level but we had to be condescendingly redirected by those who knew better for all of us. |

| A person who one goes to to for counsel or wisdom or to get approval for something is commonly known as a "Rabbi". I'm Jewish and I've never been offended by that usage. But the wokeness of all of you people has made me realize the error of my ways. I am now very, very, VERY offended by the use of that word in that context. It is basically like using a swastika. Or the N word. Thank you to the Committee on Unnecessary Wokeness (COW) for showing me the error of my ways. |

Meh, the topic was brought up in a polite way not a condescending way. It was up to the OP to decide.
If OP can’t take a simple explanation about why it might be better to use a different word and gets so offended by that then that seems like a personal problem. Too bad though because this could have been another fun thread. Just picking a new name and keeping it moving would have been a better move than ghosting like it’s one way or no way.
