Swami wonders what your chafe is about DCPS and says you will get into Sela on results day. All your other lists will be 200+. You'll make sure you to circulate a petition to open the Langdon Pool full time this summer but won't play on that playground regularly

Thanks, Oh Lottery Seer! No hate for our IB school/public school options--spouse works for DCPS. We learned we were guaranteed a spot via early action, so ranked accordingly. We toured and liked Sela!

Swami says you'll get into LAMB SD at your first pull and determine the commute untenable. You will get an offer at CHMS after September 15th because your master number was reallly good, and after posting lots of inquiries on MOTH, will take it.

Thanks Lottery Seer! We are in the north part of the Miner boundary so I think we could do the LAMB SD commute! But yeah, CHMS is our first choice and if we get in there, we are definitely taking it.

Sorry - is CHMS Capitol Hill Montessori? What does the “S” stand for?

Not Swami...but zero percent chance at any of these

I don’t think that’s right. Some of these schools took big enrollment hits this year. More kids in these neighborhoods will head to privates next year if in person is looking at all iffy. No seats will be offered in the lottery, but I’d virtually bet on WL movement at a few of those schools.

Not Hearst. The IB kids cannot even attend the school. LOL!

I would assume PP means it to stand for "school"? But I've also seen CHML for Capitol Hill Montessori at Logan.

It's not as interesting, for sure. Our list for 5th is:

School. But your point is a good one; too many acronyms, haha.

We threw in for Deal and Hardy because why not? You have to play to win.

Chances of PK4 at Lafayette (IB but no sibling preference)?

Because they've been in a flex space for a bit, I think people started using CHMS (since the school has not actually been "at Logan" for years)
