They are very talented. If you don't think they're attractive, that's ok. I think Post Malone is talented but don't think he's attractive.

The important thing is that they are becoming more popular in the US and that we shouldn't overlook them because they are Asian or because they're songs aren't all in English. They have a new album coming out in a couple weeks and hopefully Dynamite has spurred Americans to give it a chance. BTS has said they think they songs on the album are even better than Dynamite, and hope we will enjoy them. I cannot wait to see their new look that will accompany the new album.

There are trainees who’s groups unfortunately never materialize, so they end up having to move to another company to eventually get into a group. They are really lucky compared to the average KPOP band, but they started from nothing. That is partly why their fans are so loyal. It was a big risk for each of them to join BigHit. One was plucked off the street, most auditioned. Jimin apparently almost didn't get asked to debut with them because he had trouble adapting to their style of dancing as his background was ballet and contemporary, not hip hop.

I agree, it’s really remarkable that they were able to rise up from not a Big 3 company. There’s so many talented groups at the smaller agencies, but they don’t always have the money to promote aggressively as rookies, so groups can have a strong debut and then end up waiting 9 months + to have a comeback and they just end up fizzling out. The internet/YouTube is somewhat helping to lift up the smaller agencies’ groups, but it’s still the case that if you’re backed by SME/JYP/YG you’ll be a success and if you’re with anyone else it’s definitely not guaranteed.
