? You clearly don't live on this side of the neighborhood. It is definitely not "one small neighborhood".

And then there is Twinbrook and Fallsgrove. You think those folks should bike it, too, or walk?

Seriously, how did

A lot of people live within walking/biking distance of JW. And there's also the T2, the 47, and the 56. If more people who can walk/bike/take the bus actually walked/biked/took the bus, then there would be more parking spaces available for people for whom walking/biking//taking the bus isn't an option.

get turned into "EVERYBODY SHOULD HAVE TO WALK OR BIKE TO JW IN THE RAIN"?

I live east of 270 and walking distance to JW.
Cars come off the 270N exit ramp onto Falls Rd at 55+ mph.
They then try to cross over to take a left onto Great Falls Rd
If you live here, you would see all the broken glass, plastic littering the road from all the accidents that happen at this intersection. And that’s just regular traffic, not soccer tournament traffic.
But the most disturbing thing from last night’s meeting is that there is No Plan for bathroom use. How do they think they can have hundreds of people for tournaments and no bathrooms?

Andrew Zuckerman says no. His children are in MSI and play
At Julius Wesr and they never go to the bathroom. Your
children don't need to go either.

No bathrooms at most of the places MSI plays. The schools are usually locked. Sometimes at the high schools like Einstein or Whitman they will have the nearby bathrooms unlocked but not always.
I agree they should have bathrooms, but they don’t at the other schools either. Kids and adults hold it.

500 children and adults are not "holding it."

They go on a tree.

Most kid sporting events I attend have no bathrooms.

Same here - most soccer fields and baseball fields my kids play at do not have bathrooms. Why is this such a big deal? The kids can wait during the 90-120 minutes they are there for a game.

get turned into "EVERYBODY SHOULD HAVE TO WALK OR BIKE TO JW IN THE RAIN"?

Because a PP insisted that everyone should walk or bike to JW or take a bus to address the parking situation.

Hilarious.

My DS plays soccer and baseball, and almost every single game, one of the boys needs to pee behind a tree. Every. Single. Game.

MSI goes as young as Kindergarten. Guarantee those boys can't hold it. When they gotta go, they gotta go.

Lots of peeing in the turf, I guess? If they're not bringing in PortaPotties, the kids will be peeing on turf.

Adults hold it. Kids do not.

One game we were at (at a different MS), one girl even went into the woods to do a #2. Now, THAT would be gross on turf.

DP

PP was commenting that there are other options, versus driving. But, the other PP was pointing out that public transport isn't actually a good option for most families at 9pm for after BTS night. I agree.
