+1 Y'all seem naive. |
They only did it for their first daughter but backed out on doing it for the second. |
+1 This is beautiful, thank you. |
^^Don't get Aunt Becky and her designer husband either. He must've had tons of $$, daughters didn't need college. |
LOL Even her dad recognizes that cute 'girls next door' are a dime a dozen in Hollywood. Read the interview, he says it himself. https://parade.com/732550/walterscott/william-h-macy-on-his-favorite-frank-moment-from-shameless-and-working-with-wife-felicity-huffman/ |
Hilarious. |
I found her LinkedIn. She’s a Spanish major (who majors in Spanish?), yet has cushy investment bank internships. |
Anyone know who the Yale soccer parents are? |
Is caltech the only school left in the country that isn’t sketchy?
State schools have their scandals. Private’s are rocked by back doors and side doors. It seems like caltech might be the only school in America where you can trust the admissions office |
I sort of feel bad for the kids - in some cases they probably didn't even know this was happening, and now they are screwed. |
Is there a list of all of the colleges involved? |
Having a good college degree is what a young girl with no prospects to be rich on their own does these days. Paris Hilton didn't need college but she was smart enough to build an empire with a networth over $500 million. Not every girl can do that and its not like these girls will inherit mommy and daddys fortunes anytime soon. Look how well life turned out for Tori Spelling and her dad was worth $600 million. No money, no jobs, no education, and 5-6 kids (I stopped counting) with her mom still alive. |
I disagree that re: the bolded. Simply being a URM will not get you into the most selective schools. You still need to be able to do the work. |
It sounded like the FBI is going out of its way not to blame the institutions, but only the coaches who made it happen. |
Reed. Common core & no sports. But it’s a good school, not an elite one. Maybe Harvey Mudd too? |
