I can’t speak for other posters but, no, that’s not what I wanted. I wanted to clear up 8 pages of ridiculous posts mixed in with a few from people who know what they are talking about. It’s not my place call out kids by name simply because I have the information. The case is under investigation. |
Oh, it’s “under investigation” now? What happened to “the parents were ok with DCU kicking the kids off the team and didn’t want the authorities involved” line from earlier? Yeah, clear it up, big man. All you and your friend have done is to implicate any kid who comes off that roster as someone who has committed an unspeakable crime, as detailed by innuendo in this thread, whether or not it actually happened. You and your cohort did it via repeating said allegations and innuendo over and over again on a public forum. Had you said nothing, then you would have remained in “your place.” Now, you and your buddy are actually the people most responsible for outing the kids, maybe for something they haven’t even done. Congratulations |
So what exactly is your adgenda here? You have a kid who may be playing alongside these alleged “perps”? |
| Don’t we all have the agenda of child safety, for the children who may play alongside the four kids identified by this thread? Isn’t that why this thread was started and continuously refreshed? That’s my agenda. Isn’t it also yours? |

Question for the DCU parents in the know...
DC law considers athletic coaches to be mandatory reporters of abuse, including sexual abuse. https://cfsa.dc.gov/service/report-child-abuse-and-neglect Has DCU personnel reported the incident(s) to the appropriate authorities? |
Great question. Bump. |
| There’s no DCU parent in this thread. No one seems to know anything specific other than a Loudoun dad who apparently thinks it’s ok to out kids who may have done something at a different club, but he has no details on what, and pin awful crimes on them. |
| Something happened OK. Just be patient. It will all come out. I find it most odd how much people are trying to sweep this away on this thread as opposed to believing someone from outside the club is making it up. |

The online rosters don't often reflect all the changes made during the season. Players will be added, but aren't usually taken off, even when they've switched to another DA club. VDA seems to better at keeping up with it than others.
The game reports are what you need to look at. The 4 players kicked off will show as not rostered for every game this spring. http://dcut.ussoccerda.com/sam/teams/index.php?team=7411676 Or, you could always just ask someone you know who actually has a kid at DCU, and they will easily verify it for you. Don't you find it odd that there isn't a single post from a DCU parent saying this is all BS? Or even anyone saying they did ask a DCU parent and they were told it was all BS? |
And no DCU or other DA parents have produced an email with sensitive info redacted either... I think we are happy to compare the fall game reports with the spring reports as well. Important to remember that players are often kept unrostered for other reasons, including performance and injury issues, or if they have left the squad for other reasons. We can review and see if a consistent four are gone per spring reports vs. the fall. |
| So it looks like the U15s had a game last week and one tomorrow. The roster seems to be the same as in the Fall. Were these kids booted off the team or are they just leaving them on the roster? |
They had the GA Cup last weekend. First league game is March 9, and then mostly every week from then on. The roster question has been answered. They probably won't be taken off the online roster, but when the game reports come out they'll be listed as "not rostered" every week. |

The DA rules now include some very strong language about the reporting requirements for this sort of thing. Beginning on page 6: https://m.box.com/shared_item/https%3A%2F%2Fussoccer.box.com%2Fs%2Fwk8nm2mwq34yvbbu548pvwywmdkklzju
I could be wrong but I don't remember seeing that section when I looked at the rules last summer. Makes me wonder if maybe it was added in direct response to this incident? I could be wrong, but the bolded and underlined parts really jump out. Seems like something I would have noticed. Anyone else? |
