I am an alpha female and I do not care if my husband cheats. First, he wouldn't, largely because he's a beta, but the other poster was right, he can be replaced easily so it's neither here nor there to me. |
Alpha man here. I would care and not consider myself an alpha if she did |

Let's see, NYT weddings page:

She is also the founder of Happily Ever Borrowed, a Manhattan company that rents bridal accessories. She graduated from Cornell. brat kids, sham marriage/cheating guaranteed but looks good from the outside and that's all many shallow type As care about |
| No marriage is protected from cheating, least of all the one with a beautiful young SAHM wife. And please don't tell me men who want to marry young beautiful girls don't care what it looks like from the outside. |
Yeah and if word gets around that your wife is getting pipe from someone else, you're never gonna get that respect back |
This is accurate. Distant, busy parents + all the stuff money can buy = self-centered, entitled children. |
NP here. You're deluded. At 65, if a person were to develop Alzheimer's it wouldn't be considered to be early-onset. I've had two clients I can think of off the top of my head, both extremely accomplished professionals, who were dealing with pretty obvious cognition issues in this age range (one late 50s male, one mid 60s female). I have another client, currently mid-60s, who I have worked with a lot in the past and on this current job, it has been noticeable how she has become slightly forgetful. It is definitely nothing dramatic in her case, but I notice it because we work closely and she used to be razor sharp. To the outside world, I'm sure she is the same Larla they've always known, but I see that now she is forgetting details of conversations she never would have misremembered even five years ago. While she is still spectacular at what she does, I suspect things would change quickly if she were dealing with the stresses of a boomerang kid, or something similar. Yes, for SOME people, 45 might be the new 33, but 65 will never be the new 45. |
+1 from NP Observed this myself many times. The most desirable men will almost always go for the cute, early 20's rich girl. She just has to be above-threshold hot, spectacular not required. |

I feel bad for these women because they missed the marriage and child rearing boat. It's not their fault that a woman's primary marriage and child bearing years are so short in the grand scheme of life. Women are most fertile and attractive to men when they are very very young and most in our modern society are not mature to realize their short lived power in the marriage market or how to use it to their best advantage.
And average 21 year old American woman is at the peak of her physical beauty and desirability for marriage and baby making. But today's 21 year old's are as immature as teenagers and are always partying, taking selfies in bathrooms and having meaningless sex. By the time they wise up at around 30, it us usually too late and 80% of eligible men are already in serious relationships or married. The smart young women who were made aware of the marriage market are decisive and use their youth and beauty to quickly lure an eligible guy with high earning potential EARLY. All of these types of girls and guys are wed at 23-25. |
He has cheated on you. Alpha are so clueless. |
It is pretty true that good-looking, gainfully employed men who want to get married in their 20s and early 30s, usually are off the market quickly. But roughly half will be back on the market in their 40s. If you can wait, you might get more choices than settling in your late 30s. |
Yeah. And half them will have had vasectomies and be paying child support and alimony to wife #1. |
Let's see, these women are not fat or ugly, and these weddings would not be happening if they were, so yup, thanks for making my point for me. |
You are missing the point. A beautiful Peggy Sue DEFEATS a fat or ugly upper class girl. Female hotness >>> female career Male career >>> male good looks This isn't hard. You're just in denial because (a) you are deeply invested in your stupid career, and (b) you are projecting your own desire for a man with a powerful career onto men who actually don't care about it. |
