LMAO! That was funny!

| I’m so freaking White that you can see my veins. My daughter is a legit ginger. We just discussed the fact that we cannot live without wash cloths. Do with this what you will. |
| Yes, I'm white. |
| White, 57, female and I have always used a washcloth |
| Filipino. I have a washcloth, shower poor and a Korean scrub towel in my bath/shower |
Shower poof lol whoops! |

Listen, the self-loathing that many black women have for their bodies is real. We do not need to scrub away at our skin.
If you can get some of us to talk, you'll learn how many of us were taught to douche. How many of us still do. And how much of that leads to BV, pelvic inflammatory disease, and issues with premature birth. Our bodies are not nasty and don't need to be treated this way. |
| I am white and I don’t use one but my white WASPy MIL does and she was shocked I was not using one. I think it’s a generational thing. |
Same. Why does everyone see everything through the lense of race now! |
| I’m black and have heard of people not using washcloths. This is new to me. I went to an HBCU and after college, lived with black people so I’ve never lived with white people. Wow, who knew! |
| No. Did as a kid and my parents do but I got out of the habit in college when I didn’t do laundry enough and so they always were mildest and gross. I am white. |
| I am negative spectrum white (means PIBOC) and I have used a hemp waschloth for two years. I have read articles that say as a Piboc person I can't technically be dirty because it's a systemic issue |
| I am white and I grew up with wash cloths, but I could not keep up with wash cloths as an adult. That is a whole another load of laundry. It never clicked with me how to handle wash cloths once used. I have the poofy thing in my shower for scrubbing with body soap. This is easier I think than tending to wash cloths. |
| White family of 4 girls, 30s to early 40s. I use a washcloth, always have. Curious, I asked my sisters. One other uses a washcloth and 2 don't. I had no idea. It never occurred to me until this thread that anyone wouldn't use one! Ha! |
| I use them for removing face masks, but I don't use them on my body. I shave my legs and underarms every shower and arms every few showers and feel like that exfoliates enough. |
