Do you use a washcloth? What race are you?

White, I use a new washcloth every day.

Washcloths are pretty gross. Are you going to reuse or wash each time? Because, that's a lot of washcloths to wash all piling up in a wet mound until they are actually washed.
Nope.

I don't use a washcloth, but as I recall, they are pretty small -- smaller than a kitchen towel, and I take a clean dishtowel every day without overwhelming the laundry.

Middle aged white lady here, raised in the northeast. I do not but had a Black nanny growing up who, when giving me a bath, would hand me a washcloth and say “clean your crack.” That may have traumatized me from using a washcloth since.

My midwestern bred DH uses one as does his whole family.

I'm black and I use a fresh wash cloth every time I take a shower.

Washcloths are a breeding ground for bacteria and infection

I am the white person who uses a new washcloth everyday; they are small and a weeks worth equal about one extra towel to wash.

It's not a big deal, and well worth it to exfoliate my acne prone skin and stinky underarms, and wash my feet.

I think the reason more of us, white and black, from the south use washcloths is that we are used to sweating, a lot, and just rinsing off all over with a little soap doesn't cut it.

Black. Use a clean washcloth every time I shower.

Black. I use only white washcloths on my face. Same for guests. All colored washcloths are for body. It would gross me out otherwise. I use a new washcloth every couple of days.

Now I am thinking I would like to start using a washcloth in the shower. But where do you dry it to use again? If you use a new one every time, where do you keep it until you wash it? Wouldn't it get your other laundry wet?

I have oxo suction hooks (and oxo suction soap dishes) in my shower. Washcloth hangs there and is dry by the next shower. I can reuse OR toss in with laundry.

White, not southern. I use a washcloth on my kids, but for myself I use a synthetic bath pouf thing. I'm sure they harbor more bacteria than a washcloth, which is washed frequently, but I like them because they create more suds.

White, no washcloth. Every time I've tried to use a puff or loofah, I end up with scratches all over.

As a kid I kept "an emergency washcloth" on the bathtub ledge in the corner for when I got shampoo in my eyes, but that hasn't happened in YEARS. Decades really. She said everyone she knows who's black uses a washcloth in the shower.

Do you? If so, what race are you?

Not sure if this has been said yet but I was recently shopping for
A new set of towels and did not want any sets because of the washcloth
I even thought who uses a washcloth anymore

Now I am thinking the OP is a doing a product market research test to see
Who uses them and what demographic to target
