Omg, me too, exactly, down to "DAKARRRR."

Yep! Love her too! I want "DAKARrrr" to be my ringtone or email alert just so I can hear it.

Yes, I've been to nearly every city she reports from in West Africa and get no better thrill than when she closes her stories with "DA-KARrrr" or "A-CCRAaaa." Love her!

Yes! They've been taken over by Planet Money!

I'm really upset about this. I'm in the car from 9-10, and Morning Edition was my main dose of news. And on a shallow note, I can't stand host Razia Iqbal's particular accent ("Bare-ick oBAHHmahh") and mannerisms, like her shouting when she's interviewing someone.

I completely agree - I wonder if there is a way to complain about this. Is it WAMU or NPR who made this decision??

Zoe Chase is completely unprofessional and unlistenable.

She wouldn't have gotten a news reader slot on my college radio station.

Martin's show was boring, predictable and unimaginative. Here's Martin's story ideas, in a nutshell:

1. The world is racist.

2. The world is sexist.

3. Repeat

For a supposed Harvard grad, she's either lazy or not very bright.

I liked her show. And items #1 - 3 above are certainly true.

WAMU is the member station and they choose their program lineup. They can choose to carry mom-NPR produced shows like BBC, so they definitely want to hear from you (hopefully you're a member).
