Most laughable thing you've read on DCUM?

The mother who is thinking of volunteering in the school cafeteria so she can see her kindergartener! LOL!

My favorite is the one where the poster wanted people to share what they gave up and felt freed by afterwards, and hers was FULL BODY WAXING. I nearly died laughing and have told that story so many times to explain why I am glad I moved away from DC.

Numerous threads by FTMs on general parenting. No common sense whatsoever.

Slide climber defender. Play ground rules? I laugh in the face of those unwritten codes of decorum!!

I'm with you on allowing kids to climb up slides if no one is coming down but there are "unwritten" playground rules. No hitting, no throwing sand in the face, no peeing on the equipment - all unwritten.

I'm shocked that no one has added the ongoing thread started by the lady who was offended that Wegman's wouldn't refund her money on two week old peppers that she decided she didn't want.

I know. I was being facetious. And for the record, I wouldn't knowingly let my kid climb up the slide, too much room for error.

The lady who posts "Nursing Nazi!" every time someone responds to a request for help with breastfeeding that is other than "just go ahead and give them formula" always cracks me up.

that if your child doesn't get into private school for kindergarten you have ruined their lives forever and he is doomed to repeat his grandmothers' poverty cycle...

I'd love to read the gorgeous kid thread...anyone have that chached?

The Key School parents who have asked Mary Cheh for a new middle school in Ward 3 because they managed to f-up Hardy and because they pay higher taxes. Good luck with that.
