Someone better than Trump is better. Someone just as bad is just as bad- I mean - fight what is in front of us v create a new situation we need to fight. Ugh.

Vance might get us out of Iran, but then will effectively push a very ultra-conservative agenda. Be careful what you wish for.

💯. Trump is insane but I also don’t want Vance and his supporters in charge.

I disagree. Vance will be whatever we want him to be. It's just a matter of figuring out who's controlling the puppet strings. He was really good at the debates, don't forget that.

Vance is too busy interfering in a failing election campaign in Hungary, holding a “fireside chat” at 11 am in a handball arena with nary a fire in sight.

Reminder than orban told Putin “I am at your service” in October

He’s impeachable. The US won’t get the stink off, especially in Europe, until he’s out of our hair.

Let’s talk about this.

I was stuck in a room the other day where Fox News was on and I was baffled by what I was hearing.

Their pundits and guest experts were openly criticizing any American who questions Trump and his aggressive rhetoric on Iran. They mockingly said Americans don’t complain when Zelensky blows up bridges and buildings yet they go crazy when Trump takes a stance against Iran. They said every US president has blown up at least one bridge, so why go after Trump on this.

Then they turned to bizarre talking points on how “they love Trump in Eastern Europe” and Western Europe should pay attention and fall in line. They said Eastern Europe understands the threat of dictators which is why they support Trump’s efforts in Iran. They went on to say how Eastern Europe is thriving while Western Europe is suffering because of immigration.

I couldn’t wrap my head around what they were saying…in 2026…all the lies and crazy talk. The scary part is how dumb most Americans are that they believe whatever Fox is spewing.

So, Hungary. Yep. Terrifying when you connect the dots and maga comms agenda.

I would sooner believe Vance would poison Trump than he would 25th amendment him.

I wonder if those commentators would rather live in France or Belarus?

Wow, one GOP does the bare minimum.

This is a total aside but I looked up his bio and he went to Russia with People to People in the 90s. I am totally giggling about that for reasons I can’t really articulate (because I saw those groups in action).
But good for him for saying the bare minimum.

I’m just struggling to understand why?

Why this approach? What’s the end game?

I mean, even dummies should know enough to realize that Eastern Europe isn’t the model for anything, and dictatorships are bad…so why go this route with Trump?

Make it make sense.

The only points I ever hear MAGA make are “DEI” and “Trans”. Those, and guns, are pretty much the only issues keeping Republicans in power.

I think Vance would poison Trump in a heartbeat if he could get away with it. Vance has no more scruples than trump which is why trump chose him.

Eastern Europe is doing well, especially Poland , because Weste. European opened their borders to Eastern Europeans to come in and develop human capital to bring back.

Heck, these commentators want to live in McLean, not Muskogee. Or northern NJ, not North Dakota. As much as they whine about blue states, they generally only inhabit them as well as send their kids to the very top publics and privates they mock to get their paychecks.
