Its not like there is a viable alternative to vote for, so Lead Foot is still getting my vote. Fascist Lover or Speeder, jeez, tough call.

I think I’ll choose democracy? Just call me crazy.

Exactly.

Someone who will bend over for Trump for the next Big Lie…or someone with a lead foot?

Not even a question.

One very well could have killed you, the rest is just moral outrage. I'd personally rather be outraged and alive.

Almost everyone speeds on the highway. Your ability to evaluate risk is fcked up.

World of difference between speeding and doing 116 on a public road. Roads simply aren’t made for that speed, and the closing speed is not something other road users are going to expect.

It takes an aggressive disregard for the law to do that. Just what you want in an AG…

Oh for God's sake. "Public roads aren't made for that speed" - tell that to the Germans.

The faux outrage about this is precious coming from the Don't Tread on Me crowd.

Oh. Jones was doing this in Germany?

The number of 20 something males who are convicted of driving over 100mph on the toll road in Ashburn is pretty shocking. It's a thing. They all seem to get community service and a big fine. There is a mom I know from our kid's high school sports who has multiple reckless driving convictions who still drives like an asshat who I don't believe has done a day of jail time. She has a beach house in Fl and she has tickets in every state from Va to Fl for reckless driving. She has been able to switch back and forth between her maiden and married last names and I think she has played a game with that to avoid more serious repercussions. I don't believe she's ever spent a night in jail.

My brother got caught doing 106 on the Dulles Toll Road at 6 am in 1998 coming home from DC partying. He was still in his work clothes so the cop mistook him for a white collar worker in a hurry to work. But they still impounded the car and took him to jail. He was sentenced to 6 days (one day for each MPH over 100) and I picked him up on Christmas Eve morning.

Best part in all of this? My brother was WASTED drunk at the time, and they had no clue. And he had an 8 ball of blow in the car that was never searched. Talk about getting off easy.

Look, I get that it could be confusion, but that is truly embarrassing for a candidate for governor of Virginia to screw that up so royally on the campus of one of the two schools. Her handlers should be fired.

Wow, I can’t believe she did that! Why isn’t that an ad? Shows she is either extremely out of touch or has the same confusion issues trump has.

It’s really easy to get a reckless in VA and I haven’t heard of anyone getting locked up for it. Do they have the space in jail for that many people?

I know a couple people who had DUIs years ago and at most they only had like an afternoon in jail.

Speeding is very common. Maybe he was trying to get around some asshat sitting the left lane and had to speed up for that.

Is it great? No. Is it a big deal? Also, no.

We have actual issues at hand here.

The Republicans are pushing hard to take the focus away from their depravity.

I know someone who spent a night in jail for littering in Fairfax

Not only did he drive recklessly, then complete his "volunteer" hours for his own PAC (which isn't a charity, BTW), he also fantasized about killing the VAGOP Speaker........
This is really sick. I hope he loses big time.

This is why I cannot believe you idiots voted for Hashmi and Jones. What were you thinking???? There were other qualified democratic candidates.

LOL. Republicans are still trying SO HARD
to take the focus away from their own depravity.

Can’t talk about Miyares being Trump’s lackey so they throw out lame character attacks on Jones.

Face it. The dem candidates suck.
Jones’ character is determined by his actions. And he has shown to have poor judgment and poor character again and again.

So much projection here.

Jones is infinitely better than the Trumphmper Miyares.

Geez. There's more.....

I'm very sorry that Jones ran when he has so many political liabilities that he knew or should have known would surface in the campaign.

We could have had Shannon Taylor as the AG candidate to challenge Miyares. There's no indication of similar skeletons in her closet.

I'm going to hold my nose and vote for Miyares for the first time, because Jones seems totally unacceptable to me. He is turning out to be a complete tool in all aspects of his life.
