The number of 20 something males who are convicted of driving over 100mph on the toll road in Ashburn is pretty shocking. It's a thing. They all seem to get community service and a big fine. There is a mom I know from our kid's high school sports who has multiple reckless driving convictions who still drives like an asshat who I don't believe has done a day of jail time. She has a beach house in Fl and she has tickets in every state from Va to Fl for reckless driving. She has been able to switch back and forth between her maiden and married last names and  I  think she has played a game with that to avoid more serious repercussions. I don't believe she's ever spent a night in jail. [/quote]

My brother got caught doing 106 on the Dulles Toll Road at 6 am in 1998 coming home from DC partying. He was still in his work clothes so the cop mistook him for a white collar worker in a hurry to work. But they still impounded the car and took him to jail. He was sentenced to 6 days (one day for each MPH over 100) and I picked him up on Christmas Eve morning.

Best part in all of this? My brother was WASTED drunk at the time, and they had no clue. And he had an 8 ball of blow in the car that was never searched. Talk about getting off easy.[/quote]
