FCPS isn't a monolith. Do you have evidence she specifically denied knowledge of allegations she had? Because that's otherwise absurd.

The US government isn't a monolith, but I do see people blame the President for things from time to time.

FCPS put out the denial. Did Reid have something more important to do that day that check into the allegations? Certainly she wasn't busy editing that email that went out under her name.

Let parents do the parenting. Why is that so hard for fcps? Do they think we all abuse our children or something? If you suspect abuse, report to social services. Otherwise, do your job and stick the classroom.

I love my daughters. Yes I would be upset if one of them came home pregnant but we would work through it as a family and would ensure she has the support she needs for whatever decision she makes. Of course any 17 year old is scared to tell her parents something she knows will disappoint them. However, a 17 year old is a CHILD. And she needs her parents in this situation whether she realizes it or not. Was the teacher there to check on this girl at 2am the night after the abortion to make sure she was still ok? I bet her mom would have been.

Fcps is all about tearing the family apart and keeping secrets. It’s disgusting.

I had a D&C after a miscarriage. It went smoothly, but there was recovery needed. And, it was less than two months into the pregnancy.

A family member also had an early miscarriage and was given a pill to expel the "leftovers." It was awful. She said if she ever had another miscarriage, she would go with the D&C.

Blessedly, we both had successful pregnancies after our miscarriages.

I cannot imagine a 17 year old going through this alone without care. And, I suspect the pregnancy was no where near as early as mine was.
