FCPS investigating alleged instances of staff arranging abortions for students

If the allegations are true, what I find sad is that these girls could not go to anyone in their families. Sad they needed to go outside their family for support. That is the real issue.

What’s truly sad is fcps preventing the families from being able to support their daughters.

Any teen girl is going to be scared to tell her parents she’s pregnant. That doesn’t mean the conversation shouldn’t happen and an abortion should be done without parental consent.

It isn’t FCPS’s job to fix broken families.

If a kid can’t look to their own family for support that is the family’s fault, not the school system.
