The only way to stop this is continual mass harassment of Senate Republicans to get their heads out of their asses and shut this down. Can’t trust or wait for the Courts or any other institution to do anything. The Senate has to shut down appointments and other approvals until Musk and the OPM lunatics are out and the Administration obeys federal laws. It only takes five Republican Senators but their are not that many who put the country over their personal ambitions and their fealty to major party donors.

Tax charges are misdemeanors. It’s in your own link. Rarely do folks do jail time for under payment of taxes. People go to jail when it’s a long running scheme (like drug dealing or money laundering).
