It is titled: “ Statement from Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre” and includes no statements or messages attributed to the President. I think we are now at the Weekend at Bernies point of the Biden administration.

Biden respects the separation of powers.

This is a legislative matter at this point.

It should be a legislative matter, but for some reason a bunch of the Republican legislators are taking their orders from an unelected billionaire playing bureaucrat.

Not sure why this is happening, but pretty sure money and kompromat are involved.

I, for one, am extremely troubled by the power of Elon Musk who is a naturalized citizen but acting like he is the power of behind the throne. Democrats were always complaining when Republicans balked at raising the debt ceiling. Now it is a bad thing to raise the debt ceiling?

Elon told Johnson not to allow a vote, and Johnson answers to Elon. This is an R problem.

It’s not really an R problem if Democrats won’t support a short term clean CR to get through the holidays.

It’s an R problem when Trump and Vance and Elon all say the bill is terrible so Johnson won’t put it up for a vote.
