No it was the most they could do. There are only 36 f35 in Israel with a combat readiness of under 50%(though that number is most likely a lot lower given the F15 is about 33%- ie 1 in 3 planes can fly at any given time). Guarantee they didn’t use them in Iran. Losing a the US top fight in Iran would be a disaster for the US. What I am saying of course the Israelis would do that. What do they care? If they used the f35 they were refuel by the US which means the US participated. Israel has a total of 251 “fighter” aircraft. The majority are f16. Israel does not have a big or long range capability.

Contrary to what you say Israel desperately wants to do as much damage as possible and continue the war. The thing is Israel can not hit the nuclear facilities(build deep underground) and the world would go apesh#t if Israel attacked the oilfield. So this is what they did but they would not be able to do it without direct US aid.

Also word is none of the ballistic misses Iran fired were shot Israel or the US. That is why the US sent THAAD to Israel. There are only 7 active THAAD system in the world and they cost 1.3-1.9 billion each. They are not designed for a large are defense like say Tel Aviv. The most important thing to me as I age is being vehemently against war and against US support of war across all theaters. Against military spending, against continuing what Chalmers Johnson titled ‘the sorrows of empire.’ I support spending to aid with educational, military, and domestic support spending for those in any kind of need and in terms of infrastructure and the like. I’m not an isolationist, but the pendulum has swung and frozen in an opposite direction that makes me fear for the future of 90% of the world.

Don't assume anything. If there is a war and the military does not have the bodies, the draft will be reinstated. There is a reason that young men must register for selective service upon turning the age of eighteen. It is to know exactly where to find them if a draft in necessary. Right now it is an all-volunteer military because Vietnam was such a disaster. There were more than enough volunteers after the 911 attack, so a draft was not necessary. Right now, all the military branches are experiencing problems in recruiting good, qualified soldiers, marines and sailors. The brass is screaming the alarms.
