Iran does not want a war. Netanyahu wants the cheapest war possible, so that he can cling to power, otherwise he has a few court cases pending (like Trump). This is why he sends heavy bombs to Gaza and elsewhere, which kill tens of thousands of innocents, when he could have pursued Hamas and Hezbollah with more surgical weapons. But those are more expensive, and the massive destruction is intimidation by itself. |
