He was still president for that January 6th utter traitorous nonsense. But you are correct, his overbearing trashing of women's rights happened after he had left his term.

Most folks in US don't care about J6.

We care. A lot.

Very, very few people care about “J6.” It’s nowhere on the vast majority of people’s list of issues that are important to them in the upcoming election. If it is on your list, it’s a glaring signal that you are completely out of touch with kitchen table issues. Which, … you likely are. “But muh democracy!” you gasp, as you clutch your pearls. Yes, your democracy, which is currently seeking to install Harris. Mmhmm. Such concern. Very dangerous.

January 6th was one of the most shameful days in U.S. history. And you're officially (though anonymously) in support of that traitorous event. When you were growing up, did you ever think you'd become so anti-American?

I never said I support what happened on January 6th, and I don’t. I wasn’t there, I didn’t know what was going to happen on such date, and even if I did, I wouldn’t have gone. I just don’t care. My point is that the DC swamp outcry over J6 is way way way beyond the level that most people clock it. The average, non-DC dwelling voter is generally aware of the events of J6, generally does not approve, and that’s it. That’s the end of the story. You might not believe me, but that’s how it is.

I am not the poster that brought up the BLM riots and violence of 2020, but it absolutely influences my reaction toward J6. There were months upon months of violence and destruction, including where I work and where I live. The media downplayed it. Left wingers called it the summer of love. There was even a segment on CNN where buildings were lit on fire and there was mass chaos and the reporter called it “mostly peaceful”. It was insanity. It was awful. And I will not be gaslit into caring about J6 a single iota more than leftists cared about the rampant BLM mayhem.

A good number of the people who were actually prosecuted for arson, murder and instigating rioting associated with the BLM protests were white nationalists and "boogie bois."

BLM was much worse, longer, more violent , more costly and more deadly.

They're not remotely the same thing. But you're just going to use "waddabout?" as defense for your support for the traitorous January 6th day?

Of course they are it’s the most unamerican cult ever

Also, J6 didn't just "happen" and wasn't just a "crowd that got carried away in the moment." It was PLANNED. You don't just carry around lumber and rope in your jeans pocket and just happen to build a gallows. You don't just happen to have maps and plans and tactical gear and coordinated, encrypted radios and weapons and designated "breach teams" consisting of members assembled from across multiple states just as a spur-of-the-moment thing. All of that has been shown as evidence, admitted to in testimony by the Oathkeepers, Proud Boys and others. It was PLANNED. And, those groups MET with Roger Stone and other close Trump associates in planning it.

Last time I checked he was president for four years and didn’t rule like Adolf Hitler. My goodness

A member of the Boogaloo Bois, a right-wing group intent on capitalizing on chaos and starting the next American civil war, has also been charged with assisting in the damage to the precinct that night. Ivan Harrison Hunter, a 26-year-old from Boerne, Texas, is accused of shooting 13 rounds from an AK-47-style rifle into the precinct while people were inside the building.

(one of numerous examples)

+1

Jan 6th 1500 have been indicted and jailed yay!!

They hung gallows.
They planned to rape Congress women
They hurt 141 members of the police

Coup 1000% coup

Traitors in the people’s house terrorizing other Americans for what Don the con two bit hustler from flushing who loves Putin and Nazis and wants to be King of the US

Cult of stupidity 100 percent and hate and Nazis and Putin

MAGA loves to be taken don’t they Don s hocking mor shit today and they keep giving their hard earned cash won’t it be fun when he installs project 2025 abd he steals all taxpayers monies

And the people around Trump knew what he was doing. Many were shocked and have since spoken out. The rest are traitors and cowards.

+1. Traitors and cowards. At least don't be a coward in the privacy of the voting booth. Get rid of the traitor.

Gore asked that the votes be counted due to a very close margin of error. If that had been the case in 2020 I would have supported Trump even though I loathe him. But Trump brought 59 frivolous lawsuits. These things are not the same.

You don't care that violent protestors ransacked our historic national capitol building, pooped on its floors, violently attacked police officers injuring many of them including leading to the loss of fingers and eyes all with the goal of trying to STOP the certification of an election that was free and fair? You don't care that this mob was trying to overturn the will of the American people? That it was saying our votes didn't matter? Really? You don't care about this country and its democracy? Wow.
