You can see how that is going https://www.vapremierleague.com/rlschedules

Oh wow. It isn't going so well. What if a bunch of us higher level players went and took it over. Maybe different results? Would a third string big club takeover fare well? Or is the risk not worth it?

The 2014s were equivalent to a rec team. Any score that says 11-0 means they lost by more than 11, but the scoring gets capped at 11. Also, I dont think that club does tourneys

The 2014G were in the same tournanent in the same division that the Valor third team won. Villarreal didn't even make it out of their bracket.

For anyone in 2015,14,13,12 age group it is all about development. If you are looking at wins and losses at this age, you are missing the big picture.it is all about getting in a system that will develop your kid. Unfortunately pay to play USA soccer doesn’t focus on that. Some of the bigger clubs in the area are notorious for no development. Go out and talk to the coaches, watch the practices. If you are looking to go to Villarreal because your kid is a top player on the 3rd side of one of the bigger clubs and getting ignored, go to them. You have nothing to lose, you may even find your kid will get better coaching and development at a smaller club.

Don’t go to Villarreal. This team gets beaten every week by 10+ goals and constantly loses week after week. Your kid will never learn anything, and she will lose all her confidence and passion for soccer. If kids were really learning skills from them, the results would be better than this. Please don’t put your kid in this situation just so you can say she plays in the Pre-ECNL league.

Pre-ecnl is super watered down with teams that have RL rosters and teams that have NCSL rosters. NL destined teams like Loudoun and Arlington beating these teams 7-0 and more pretty regularly makes the whole league kind of silly.
