I love it when people tell me who to vote for. Get over yourself. I'll be writing in Nikki Haley or staying home. DP |
Everyone previously said there was no way they would overturn Roe v. Wade. Anyway, when I opened this thread I thought OP would be complaining about Biden’s age or something. And they’re complaining about Israel. How do you think Trump would have handled this? |
Actually the bubonic plague is more treatable than the cold so your saying Trump is better |
I'm not a zionist or even jewish. I'm just realistic about the fact that Hamas started a war against Israel. I do get that they have legitimate grievances, but honestly the years have shown that they don't actually want to live in peace with Israel. They're angry and want to go back to some imagined past, rather than build prosperity for themselves and their children. How to convince them to give up their grudge, idk. I'd like Israel to pull back from attacking Gaza, and so would Biden. He's doing what a US President can to bring peace. |
Identity politics and tribalism isn't even mid discourse. You all sound like people who discuss at length the traits and temperaments of labradoodles vs poodles. |
Yeah, guess what? The days of using these so-called tropes to rope off areas of legitimate criticism are over. In addition to it being an underhanded tactic to censor others, it clearly hasn’t helped anyone live in safety. I’m sure you would love for others to run scared when you slander them as anti-semitic, but more and more people are standing up, not having your censorship, fully recognizing the right of Israelis (Jew or otherwise) to live in safety, but not abiding by your refusal to provide that same courtesy to Israel’s neighbors. |
Don’t care about condescending. I’m being honest. I agree that antisemitism exists. Zionism is not working for anyone who cares about international law. In theory, there is nothing wrong about Jews having a homeland. As applied, it seems like Zionism requires massive violation of international law (occupation, settling civilians on occupied land is a war crime, domicide, mass incarceration, blockades, sieges, and now what the UN and a US court have called “plausible genocide”). Can Zionism provide a Jewish homeland without these crimes? I’m not optimistic. |
PP here. I’m right there with you! Until you say that Biden would like Israel to pull back. Biden could stop this war with a phone call. Why won’t he? Obviously the answer is that he cares more about what Netanyahu and AIPAC say than what American Democrats say. Biden is no leader. |
You are being obtuse or - and trying to put this delicately - not well informed. Hamas has the following in its founding charter: Article Seven of the Charter concludes with a quotation from a hadith: The Day of Judgment will not come until Muslims fight the Jews, when the Jew will hide behind stones and trees. The stones and trees will say, 'O Muslim, O servant of God, there is a Jew behind me, come and kill him. Please stop normalizing Jewish hatred, anti semitism, and the terrorist group that is Hamas. |
I am agreeing with you, you bozo. I was giving you that point as a freebie. |
Which brings me back to my question. Would you have been vote for Biden if he were arming Hamas against Jews? |
fear many more will 'sit this one out.' get out the vote, folks! do wish it was swift (not old enough) vs trump to see him LOSE bigly! |
Now do the Likud charter! |
Or even just Rashida Tlaib heading up State. I’d almost pay to witness the white phosphorous rage and cancelling that would ensue … |
You are talking in circles and obviously either trying to be confusing, bozo, or yourself confused. I’ll let you decide where you sit. But as written, your post seem dedicated to normalizing Islamic terror of Jewish people than anything else. |
