I guess OP is in favor of a Christian Nationalist authoritarian regime.

Those of you who are so obsessed with this stuff that you relentlessly search for it/make it up should take that same energy and think of reorienting yourselves/the Democrats to positively engaging many more people/voters. Is it really so hard for you to figure out?

Obsessed with not wanting to live in a Christian Fascist state?

I’m obsessed with not wanting to be ruled by people who support a genocide that will ruin America’s reputation for decades to come.

Cool story OP.

Women don't deserve equal rights anyway do they?

I don't understand why there's conflict in the Middle East anyway. Didn't Jared fix everything?

Can't wait to see what Trump will do with the situation... Likely give it to Russia

d

So you think that by not voting for Trump, that equates to being in favor of a Christian Nationalist authoritarian regime. You think our votes, or the absence of our votes, are support for the policies that the administration undertakes.

To remind you, the OP says "But I just can’t support a guy who is helping conduct a genocide."

It would make sense that some folks feel like a vote for Biden is a vote in support of the genocide that we think is happening in Gaza.

Just understand what the likely result is by your action to stay home or vote third party.

And you think people who support the Jews for the coming Rapture will do better for the Palestinians?

I think the Democrats will continue to be a failure both in helping the Palestinians (or at least stopping Genocide Joe-style blind support) AND defeating rightist forces (including one small, not very-long for this world rightist, DJT) if they don’t face their internal contradictions, post haste.

This why and how Trump is going to win in 2024. I have too many friends and acquaintances who are doing the same. They say they won't support Biden and are either skipping the vote or voting 3rd party. It's like no one remembers 2016 and how we got Trump in the first place.

If all the 3rd party voters who refused to vote for a woman/HRC had sucked it up and done what was best for the Democratic Party, the US wouldn't be the dumpster fire that it is today.

Sometimes we have to do stuff we hate for the greater good. I don't want to vote for Biden and wish I didn't have to, but I'm not NOT voting or wasting my vote on someone who will only get 1% of the vote in my state.

Biden running again, IMO, is him showing the same hubris that RBJ displayed when she refused to retire when her seat could have been replaced by a non-conservative.

Listen up people - all who were convinced when Trump won his first time who thought the world will blow up - did it?

PS - was it pretty? Hell no. But is it pretty now? Hell no.

Trump wins this time and the Dems will be a lock for the next generation

Too close for my comfort.

I have only two non-negotiable requirements for a President:

1. They must LEAVE peacefully after their term is up. Our country can withstand almost any degree of idiocy for 4 years.

2. They must not jeopardize the fundamental security of the US (as, for example, by threatening to abandon NATO).

Trump fails on both counts.

You want to give him more time to try again? The guy staged a failed coup.

I’m not sure mainstream discourse, at least not the rabidly anti-Trump kind, has been even vaguely serious about we got President Trump. And the fact that we might get President Trump again in 2024 points to *COVID* as having beaten Trump in 2020 and your crowd having learned nothing since 2016.

Nope if you add up all the 3rd party candidates who got votes in 2016 there were more conservatives/republican voters voting 3rd party vs Democrats. It is not even close. Stop with the false narrative. The 95% of the 3rd party liberal vote was for a woman and it did not change the outcome.

Look at Wisconsin, Pennsylvania and Michigan. These three state have enough electoral votes to change the election to Hillary and usually are blue.

Wisconsin 10 electoral HRC needed 24,000 more votes
Conservatives 3rd party votes
Libertarian -Gary Johnson 106,674
Constitution-Darrell Castle 12,162
Independent-Evan McMullin 11,855

Vs
Liberal 3rd party votes
Green- Jill Stein 31,072

HRC would have lost Wisconsin by 124,000 if all 3rd party voters were forced to vote either Trump/HRC

Pennsylvania 20 electoral HRC needed 45,000 more votes
Conservatives 3rd party votes
Gary Johnson 146,715
Darrell Castle. 21,572
Evan McMullin 6,472

Vs
Liberal 3rd party votes
Bernie Sanders (write-in) 6,060
Jill Stein. 49,941

Trump by 160,00

Michigan 16 electoral HRC needed 12,000 more votes.
Conservatives 3rd party votes
William Weld 172,136
Darrell Castle 16,139
Evan McMullin 8,183

Vs
Liberals 3rd party votes
Jill Stein. 51,463

Trump by about 145,000
