I tipped over the line this week and can’t support Biden

Anonymous
I hate it, but I just can’t vote for him. I’ll sit this one out. Given that his competition is Trump, it’s a low low bar. But I just can’t support a guy who is helping conduct a genocide. I’m a white Christian 50 something in Virginia, so it isn’t directly personal to me, but I just can’t do it.

Anyone have any arguments other than “Trump is worse.” I agree, but that alone just isn’t enough anymore.

Then don’t vote. If you’re so hysterical that you A) think Biden is supporting genocide anywhere and B) use genocide to refer to Israel responding to Hamas, probably best you stay home.

You’re not alone. Our republic will wither due to this intransigent, unconditional support of Israel. What a mess.

Yes, funding these endless wars is indeed genocide, full throttle depopulation. There’s nothing hysterical about speaking truth. Enough is enough.

Hysterical?

Some people morally object to their vote facilitating whatever you want to label the horrific conduct of Israel over the past however many years.

That doesn’t = hysterical. It means they are unwilling to support war crimes. The entire world is awakening to the sins of Israel. That the U.S. isn’t (yet) means nothing - we were wrong on slavery, suffrage, and human rights, too.

Eventually, the march of time will ensure that Zionism finds its rightful place in the dumpster of ideas that made the world a less safe place for everyone.

Ok well enjoy the end of women's reproductive freedom! You are enslaving your daughters and grand daughters.

Oh yes. Supporting Israel as it responds to a terror attack will be the fall of the US.

Zionism … oh yes. Jews should have no homeland, no safe space. Zionism a response to the vicious antisemitism in Europe AND an acknowledgement that Jews fled the Middle East at the hands of Ottoman and eventually Arab brutality. What a shame that your hatred for Jews and denial that they should be able to live in peace and security is now affecting your interest in American democracy. Let’s see how Trump works for you.

I am sitting this one out too. I just can't even fathom Joe supporting Israel unconditionally, even blocking UN Security Council resolutions (US was the only country to veto UN Security Council resolutions related to the Gaza issue) on multiple occasions.

He will forever be known as "Genocide Joe". What a terrible legacy after a lifetime in the politics.

Why is it seemingly impossible for you to accept that others understand the idea of Zionism for the racist, evil construct that it is … but also fervently, unflinchingly support the idea that Jews should be free to live safely in more than just a patch of sand in the Middle East?

Agree. Why are dual citizenship Americans even allowed to hold political office? Just look at the high percentage of the current White House and Capitol Hill have Israeli dual citizenship. Because of them, we are held hostage by Netanyahu.

Yeah, shut up, hold your nose, and vote for Biden. Period.

Trump is worse? Like the bubonic plague is worse than the common cold? Yes, like that. You want the bubonic plague? Then sit it out, because the bubonic plague is what you're going to get. If you want to snuffle through a cold, then get off your butt and vote for Biden. Period. No choice there. Vote. For. Biden.

I don’t want to support anything that approaches within 100 clicks of the bizarre, essentially one-sided terrorism that Zionism has inflicted on the indigenous Palestinians for the past 100 or whatever years.

Nobody is buying the lies any longer that Israelis live under siege. It’s over. Social media and the decentralization of information has ensured that every wave of Israeli lies is pretty quickly analyzed, evaluated, and picked off as hasbara.

Live by the sword (lies, deprivation of rights, and genocide), I guess die by that same sword … hopefully cooler heads prevail at some point, though.

You shut up too you B.S. Trump trolls. Go away and post your BS elsewhere. No one is listening to you here. Because we know who you are and what you are doing. Get enough liberals to sit it out, and your Orange Dictator wins!

Trumputin wins!!

No, vote for Biden and keep us from sliding into a dictatorship. You think Trump will stop his dictatorship on Day 1? I've got a bridge to sell ya....

VOTE.

I did not know that. We should immediately demand/protest/lobby to ban any dual citizens from holding ANY elective offices and even working in ANY State/County/Federal government.
