College and University Discussion
well if you are hiring for the republican party, I suppose you might have a bent to Hillsdale. Most other organizations have NO idea who they are OR specifically do not hire them beacuse they are from a clearly partisan school. |
There are basically two groups of folks who know Hillsdale: those of us who grew up in Michigan with the vast majority, save some state sports recruits or partisans of a certain bent (see Prince, Erik), who have minimal interest in attending a college in such an isolated spot, and then folks outside of Michigan, who claim to have no affiliation with it yet know it is a "great and unique college full of really smart kids." And they know that because it is the right wing's mecca. Most of the elites of that group would never send their kids there but they love to champion it as if it is somehow the answer to "cancel culture," a phenomenon effectively created by them (see Chicks, Dixie). |
Refreshingly, they make a point to NOT ask students about their ethnicity, race, etc. They don’t keep statistics on those things at all. |
You were saying something about propaganda? Obvious projection on your part. DP |
Hunh? |
Why is that refreshing? |
|
This is from 2020, but gives a sampling of what graduates go on to do. Pretty impressive.

Why would I need to know what percentage of the student body is what race? Who cares? Why do you care? |
Good grief. Must everything be spelled out for you? Your entire post is LWNJ propaganda. |
| Hillsdale is a cult |
Well, I wasn't the author of that post, so was asking for you to explain. |
Well, my DCs care. They are pretty clear that they want to attend schools with a comparable demographic composition to their HS. When a school doesn't report those figures, then they assume it is probably not an environment that would be a fit for them. |
Not being able to answer that basic question is not "refreshing." Or particularly good marketing. But the answer is it's not particularly diverse since it's evangelical Lutheran. |
| It's cute how OP is still trying to make fetch happen. |
You are making an assumption. |
